Fancy a night off?

This year we are offering a babysitting service for those parents wanting a night off from the kids. After all its your holiday too. If you fancy nipping out to the pub or for a nice romantic meal a deux or to see a show just let us know in good time.

Rates for the service are £5.00 per hour.

Wild Life at Kennerley

This has been an exciting time nature wise at Kennerley House, so many things have been happening - the resident Barn Owls have had three chicks and our guests have been watching the feeding process as the owls hunt the hedgerows for prey, Sadly however one of the chicks died on Sunday; three is just too many to feed.

Guests have been busy hanging up nuts in the trees, and been rewarded with the sight of red squirrels feeding and romping through the woods. The hens went broody and our first chick was born last weekend, I think he's male - such a cocky wee chap. Then we found a wren nesting in the green house so wait for news of the young ones and last but not least the gloworms are in mating mood and shining their neon advertising for all to see. For some of our guests its the first time they have seen gloworms
